trying to stick...
trying to stick...
Right now i have whats in my sig as mods... when i try to take off anywhere in first, whether it be a launch or 20 roll, all i do is spin which continues through the first bit of second...i am getting new tires i think im going with bridgestone potenza 960's, not sure what size yet...but other then that what else can i do so i can stick//and not have wheel hop...i was thinking of getting ingalls td, i dont really want to get motor/trans mounts because i like my car to feel comfortable and no vibrations, so is there anything else, thanks guys.
that's just the way it is. i have lowering springs, tranny bushings, ingalls, etc. and while the car doesn't hop at all, it still spins like crazy. only way to do anything about that is to get some drag radials or slicks, which won't do u any good on the street.
gets even harder when you get more mods. just tonight i had a wide open stretch of highway after being stopped at a sign, went a little over half throttle and started spinning at the top of 1st, slammed 2nd and spun through 2nd. there comes a point where first gear is useless without dropping the boost.
mounts and get someone (cough cough) to tune some boost out of first gear
also the BFG KDWs are good tires to ge

i was looking at the KDWs but i need soemthing for all season and i thought the potenza 960s were rated good in a lot...are they ne good?? and yea i really want u to tune my **** since last summer, but warranty...which im starting to care less and less about, and i dont have a thing to watch the a/f ratios :*(
Don't go with the Ingalls, they vibrate just as much as mounts, and mounts feel more solid. Most people on this site who had the Ingalls went with mounts after a short while...
And I don't know if it's just me, but the actual shaft of my Ingalls has cracked right down the middle after 8 months. I only have it set at 12mm.
Also the washers fall apart, and the nuts on the dampener rusted out in no time. Not worth it.

in all honesty, im jealous of you guys....not because you have a clutch, but because you have an extra gear. starting a 40mph run from the bottom of 2nd gear is no fun....its pretty damn slow...
I wish there was a 6spd automatic i could swap in
If you would rather have the SS in a Auto over manual... Please sell your car.
And spinning happens... I dont spin... but i also dont Jam my foot down... ease it...
Mounts help get the power to the ground.. but if you have mounts and you still spin, you should look into some tires...
Boost control is awesome.. Works wonders..
