Tune question

i have a 2006 cobalt ss/sc LSJ engine, and was wondering if i wanted to get a trifecta tune from the mail in. Do i need to have a wideband? i dont want to drop all the money on the gauge and dual pod. thanks

I would highly recommend having a wideband when doing any remote tune regardless of whether it is trifecta, someone with HPT, or EFILive. The primary reason is you can't tune via fuel trims at WOT. If you want a quality tune a wideband is a must.

.. Get a wideband. Whwn tuning us hptuners can see narrowband and we can correlate the millivolts to afr but its not sccurate like a wideband.

Like Pyro said, a wideband is a must.
