Tune Question Spap On Solous

Im a car salesman at a used car dealership and we have just purchased a SNAP ON SOLOUS scanner. It is top of the line! It can reflash computers has a built in trouble shooter and everything. You can also access the computer and change things there! So I was wondering could I tune my SS/SC with this Solous?

Give it a try bro. Hook it up to the OBDII port and see if it works.

Best thing to do is go to a dyno shop that is familiar with GM tuning.
They will be able to help. Most dyno shops do GM tuning.

Snap On solus, or any OBDII scantool with flash support, will only allow you to flash to a OEM flash..IE, Techauthority for Chy, Tis2Web for GM, or motorcraftservice.com for Ford.

Well I'm "new" to the tuning world and have never used HpTuners..yet. I recently bought a 2005 cobalt ss S/C for the parts and will be doing a project car with them. So I will be looking to mod this thing slightly...no track racing..just sleeper street stuff.

Not sure how I could benifit Chris or peeps over at HPtuners..but I will join and see what kinda stuff goes on over there.

Thanks,

I have that scanner and i can not do anything with 2005 / 2006 cobalts or anything esle that matter in those years because there is no software to support that new of a car to the aftermarket. expect for the scan gauges. Plus you will need the Candi adaptor for gm can communication.

but maybe im wrong. But my scanner doesnt show support for the 2005/2006
