ok the short and the long of it is that i just finished up my hahn kit, went to start it up and all im gettin some seriously irradict revving constantly goin up and down, now i checked all my sensors and thought maybe likeshortstack i got my wires mixed up for my SCIP sensor and the other one by the fuel rail...nothing but the same ****, plus i had some back firing on the 2nd start up.... but then it didnt do it anymore just a few quick pops and that was it...

Any helpwould be awesome... i figured i'd pull this from my build thread and make it in a different one...

which way does the arrow on the MAF sensor go... it should go "up" towards the throttle body right?

yes, the arrow goes up toward the throttle body. With it acting like that it almost makes me wonder if it's the throttle body. Cuz this sounds like the same problem alot of guys have when they attempt to clean their throttle bodies and do it the wrong way.

u got a vac leak some where. check the bucket seals ur injectors sit in. a friend of mine just had a leak on his. grab a can of either (starting fluid) and spray places that may be a leak. check after the maf cuz thats gonna be where the leak will be.

use brake cleaner, carb cleaner is not good for the engine. where ever there is a vacuum spray around it the idle should raise when you find the leak.

0030 isn't the bypass valve, 0033 is...

P0030 HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0033 Turbo Charger Bypass Valve Control Circuit

Also there isn't a 2229 that I know of. More than likely, it does have to do w/ your TB and it's one of the 0220's, like:

P0229 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch C Circuit Intermittent

I'm aware of that. Doesn't matter. That's the DTC description. I had the same code pop up when I disconnected MY SS/SC bypass solenoid after going turbo...

Oh, no, I'm not upset at all. Just figured that pointed response would kind of clear everything up. I thought it was weird too when it pulled that code on my car. I was kinda like, cool, it already figured out I put the turbo on there, lol...

Big brother...

On a side note, once I get my car tuned in, I'm going to throw that stock bypass back on and try to tune it to control the wastegate. It's a long shot and will probably be more of a headache than it's worth, but how awesome would it be to have the OEM bypass solenoid controlling it!

RPM control of 1st and 2nd-5th, dual stage boost controller son!!!

sorry Edubs.. i ment 0033... im taking it as its because i dont have that bypass valve sensor hooked in anymore??

Also 2229 is.. in Duramax terms (and EvoX, etc)... Barometric pressure circuit high input... whatever that is??

Edit:

Also Short / Hungry / Killa.... did you guys have any troubles with that fuzzy **** on the firewall smoldering off?? im pulling it tomorrow and replacing it with Dynamat or some equivalent to it cause im tired of the "Burnt Ass" smell haha

Edit 2:

Having some serious issues with my one charge pipe rubbing on the tire.. anyone got a cure for this????
