I drilled the returno myself, it was kinda a pain in the ass. You gotta make sure you don't drill the whole way through with the biggest drill bit. If I was gonna do it again I'd probably just get a fitting welded to the oil pan. Had to take it off anyways.

So I'm going to start running the piping today. Does anyone know how close the the TB the MAF should be? I'm using a LS2 maf.

i dont believe it matters...im pretty sure the hahn setup has it down on the side a couple feet past the ic on the drivers side...so im pretty sure it doesnt matter...what did you do for the maf plate?

and also can i just weld a straight fitting into the pan or do i need a bung to screw it into?

As for the Maf I bough a LS2 Maf GM#25168491, got it new off ebay for like $25 and it just clamps on so no need for welding.

I'd have the oil return fitting welded into the pan because you would only get a couple threads into the pan. Or use the spot I did, but be careful. Drill the whole way through with a 1/2" drill bit and watch out for the bolt hole you can see on the outside of the block right below where you're drilling. It close and you may end up cutting into it and leaking oil there.

lol, good ol black maleable street 45 degree ells ( I'm a manager of a plumbing supply lol).

But glad it's in, now I need to get all up in my engine bay this weekend. need to:
fix thermostat so I can have heat again, get rid of shitty fiberglass so I don't itch anymore, and build air intake and buy new filter. I don't know how any air is getting through it now

I was just going to use the 2 straight 1/2" pipe fittings but after getting the turbo all bolted up I noticed the line would have quite a bend to it. So the 45 fixxed that and made it a straight shot. Just worked out better this way.
