Turbo questions

Ok. So I tried to search and got nothing. My question is, if I were to purchase the Hahn stage 1 (turbo and turbo manifold) technically for the time being I could buy a delete plate from zzp and use my intake/intercooler for now right? Then add the fmic later on? Mechanically it sounds like it would work to me. Other than the bov, charge pipe, and exhaust I'd be good to go correct?

The s20g is old tech, I wouldnt get it, besides things like taping your oil pan for a return, backing a plugs out of the back of your head for and oil feed. Not sure off hand if that's a liquid cooled turbo but tapping the water pump for a feed, welding the lsj alt clutch, or getting a standard rotation alt plus pigtail. Shorter belt, new tensioner, ya that's pretty much it, oh and retuning the maf for partial and wot throttle but that depends on where you place it.

Ok so I was under the impression that i wouldn't need to tap the oil pan with the s20g. I remember reading up about the alt. setup. I'll just use the 2.2 tensioner and alt. Thanks for the help btw.

The s20g is only oil fed. You do need to weld a bung into your oil pan for a return.

2.2 tensioner will work along with the 2.2 tensioner, you will need a 2.2 alt pigtail tho i believe because the connectors are different. I believe you can use the lsj alt bracket and bolts, but the bolts need cut and threaded farther up the stock and the alternator needs ground down in one spot to clear the new belt routine. You will need to tap the rear oil galley and the pan for a return for any turbo, the only thing in question is some turbos are oil and water cooled, some are optionally water cooled, I believe some turbonetics are this way, I suggest a -10 an fitting for the return, right above the oil drain plug but as high as clearence will allow on the pan.
