i brought my car into the convo because A. the OP asked if its worth getting the tvs...all depends what he wants but imo it was worthless. B. i stated that there is a possibility that the tvs can hook up to the 370z with slight modifications. I dont know much about tuning but i know a little. I know enough that there is a boundry what a car can handle for a tune, i dont like pushing the limits to far on that boundry.

also snakes you yeilded higher whp from a intake cuz your compression ratio is higher than the ss s/c meaning bolt ons with get more hp than a cobalt. Our cars love boost

i gained 20whp on the intake for my lt1 does that mean my lt1 was a better engine than the vq37de?

hahahaha

no one has hit the wall of the tvs that i know of, but many many people have with the m62. give it some time, think about 3 yrs ago with the cobalt 250whp was amazing, now its nothing with just a 3in pulley, header, meth and a good tune

youll see in the next year or so the cobalt being 300whp as a norm and 400 a god goal

Tuning is not magic. Tuning the TVS is not magic. You just need the right fuel.

i wouldn't say no one has hit the wall yet. the wall is staring me in the face right now due to the stock head. this is where boost levels required to go farther increase exponentially, and **** over efficiency.

well i dont see you running a 2.5 pulley...
that was more of what i was getting at, right away people were down to the s.5 on the m62 spinning the ***** out of it. sure people have done so with the tvs but it still has alot more to give than anyone has reached.

you are def the closest to hitting the "wall" but im sure with you in a few months youll be over 400whp giggling every time you hit the gas, trying to figure out how to get a bit more out of it.

they are tied together on any one motor... but all im saying (which you also said) is you can port he head, run the same boost, and make more power.

its always nice to remember, our MAF is also the Z06 MAF, so it's at LEAST 500bhp capable (unless they have a larger MAF tube?)

You hit it right on the head. MAF tube size is what is important here.

On the RL, I am still running the stock 3.25" intake. On the 2.9" pulley I still have two cells that I am not touching.

The K&N CAI for the RL is less then 3". So there are some guys who almost max out the MAF on the stock TVS pulley.

Sorry so long since my OP. thanks for all the feedback. im honestly looking for around 275whp but 300 would be great!
my question now, is it worth upgrading to TVS with my goals or can i do that with the m62? what mods can get me there if so?

thanks ahead of time guys
