either bandaid it with high octane and pulley it down to a 2.5

well i might soon, think i finally have the car rid of all vacuum leaks and since i got no job again i got plenty of time(snow covering everything at the moment) so might finally have some decent progress within the next few weeks
Just weight reduction would have but I had hurt my back before hand. The vlave springs and 8k limit will cure my third gear issue and put me nicely into the 11s. I'm thinking around 11.60-11.70 when she's ready for next season
with just springs and raising the limiter would get you in the 11s but not that far
That's why i said tricks. As I said before just taking the interior seats and sub etc out would have ran in the 11s. Springs arent the only thing ill he doing. But as always I let my numbers do the talking
I've tuned tvs cars on 60#s and 2.8" pulleys with 7gph meth that dont break 80% IDC and 17ms IPW. Alot depends on how much methanol and what the AFR is. every setup will react differently. I'm on 79#s and nowhere near the injector max, no methanol, fairly rich afr.
