Twin Screw Supercharger
That thread about Rebel Auto Worxs got me thinking about this again.
What else do you need besides the Supercharger for this to work right?
Or does it come with a kit that has the stuff you need?

Twin Screw
Yeah before the TVS was out this was the talk of the forum but there are kits out there just got to look around. Crazy whine I would of got it if the TVS did'nt come out. But hands down the twin screw whine is the best!!! And yeah if one wanted to do a custom kit what would they need?
What kind of WHP was the Twin Screw Making? Wasn't it damn near the same as the Eaton M62 so it was not worth the 3K. The tvs is better and soo much cheaper. Plus tvs is a bolt on. Only good thing about the twin screw is that amazing whine.

the blowers themselves come from lyshom or autorotor (whipple) as a case and rotors, no snout or shaft. they are generic peices designed to be sold to a manufacturor to use for a kit. the kit maker then needs to select the proper snout and shaft, build an intake adapter, throttle body adapter, bypass valve setup, ect. its no small task.

It did scream like you wouldn't believe when I had it on the car, and it made a lot more power than my M62 was capable of putting out. I just had to sell the finalized version to pay off some things so I never really got to finish dialing it in.

theres a member on here, Doward who is trying to get whipple to produce their 1.6L twin screw blower. this thing would be able to move just as much (if not more) air than the tvs, generate lower IAT2's, and have a greater efficiency

Here are some pics of it and the 272whp dyno from a real rough tune. As you can clearly see there was more tuning to be done. Type in 2K5SS/SC? on youtube and you can hear the blower scream down with a driveby vid.

The twin screw never hit the market, there was never a finalized product that started selling from vendors to the best of my knowledge. There were a few test kits out there and some people had some finalized products but the price to performance ratio just wasn't there in my opinion. I think the tvs is a much much more viable solution for most customers.

The TVS is a direct bolt on swap, it is cheaper, and can spin higher rpms than the Lysholm 1200AX could. It is indeed in my opinion a better setup.
Now if you could get a 1.33L Whipple twinscrew or Kenne Bell that would be a far superior setup. Those have forged rotors and can spin even higher than the TVS can. Good luck getting ahold of one since both companies have discontinued them.
