Im more curious as to what unit it is specifically. Id rather know, than assume its a 1.5L unit. Plus, the price is pretty decent. I figured Id tos it up on here for those interested....

that is a great deal. i would buy it, but im not modding my car past stage2 and exhaust
and from what iv seen of wipples taht one looks a bit bigger than the 1.2L so i think its close to the 1.5L that hes talking about

Match the measurement response with the specs on whipple's site. If it's the 1.5L, it'll work, but it will need around a 3.5" or bigger pulley to spin it correctly for our application. That is a deal either way. The rotor looks clean, so all you'll need to do is change the oil if all the other parts are in order. Good luck.

I tried to call whipple, never got a hold of them, but was unable. From what Ive seen, it looks like the 1.5L whipple, or possibly even larger (1.7, etc.) There is a site about a 1.2L whipple miata, with pretty detailed pictures of the unit, and they are not comparable to the ebay unit.
Google Ubermiata, and you should find it. The ebay base plate where the S/C would go to the manifold looks larger, and the ebay unit has auxilarly holes as well that the 1.2L shown on the site does not. Like 2k5 said, it will work, but would require a larger pulley to be run at "safe" levels for our application. Not to mention the other fabrication steps involved for the purchaser......
The bids are getting high on it now, so its went out of the realm of a "cheap" project in my opinion....... I'd estimate the auction will end in the $500+ range.
