Two tunes and one Ecu??

I got a question for you guys. is it possible to make two tune files in an ecu?? like the ferrari enzo has different drive modes on the steering wheels on is economy, ones race, etc. can i do something similar to this like a economy mode and at the flip of a switch go to race mode?

not without reflashing the ecu every time you want to change tunes.

you could have multiple ECU's, but you would physically have to change them out...

A very cool idea, if someone could come up with a "flash unit" that would store a few tunes for quick uploading

I guess you could mount 2 ecu's in the car, tune 1 for road and 1 for track. then create a mounting board that the engine harness plugs into, and have a connection for each ecu. Then you wire it up so you could swich which ECU you want to run via a selector knob or toggle switch and there you go. It would probably require a circuit board, proper harness connectors, and some custom electronics work, but it is definately doable. It would be like one of those old printer swicthes on crack.

Crap...if I still had my electronics equipment.......oh the possibilities
