Valve Spring Info Needed

Could anyone recommend what valve springs I should get for use with the JBP Cams and a 7200 rev limit? Which supporting vendors have them?

Which vendor has them? On TTR sites, they have the dual Ferrea vs's, but it says that they can only be used with the Ferrea titanium retainers, is that true?

Dezod has Supertech ones which are excellent. I personally liked the spring pressures of them more than the Ferreas which is why I chose them. They come with titanium retainers as well.

Ferrea is the BEST out there hands down. You must use the titanium retainers by Ferrea as the OEM ones will not fit the dual springs. We carry them @ www.TurboTechRacing.com

We have sold many many sets and everyone loves the quality and performance.

NJHK, I didn't see any valve springs on Cobalt Performance Parts' site. Maybe I overlooked them though.

Andy I'll keep you posted for sure.

TTR, I have heard only good things about the Ferrea valve springs, there just very pricey since you need their retainers as well. If I do go with them, I'll be sure to let you know. Are they in stock? I kinda need them asap. Thanks.

Blown-4-Banger, I'll have check the specs of those valve springs for the pressure on them. I'm assuming that Ferrea, Bates, and SuperTech will all get the job done with these JBP cams, correct?

PM Scott @ CobaltPerformance Parts cause he has alot of items for sale that aren't on his site just cause of not being able to list them or because no one has really inquired about them or wanted to purchase them from him.

I have Ferrea. I bought them from a vendor right here in Chicago. I got the name from Ferrea. I called them, gave them my location, and they gave me the closest supplier. Drop shipped from the factory right to my door.

The supertech spring pressure is 94 lbs. Which is ****** good concidering stock spring pressure is in the 40s. At least mine were, I check them at my work and they were like 48 lbs.

If things don't work out with the JBP ones, then I think the SuperTech ones is the way I'm gonna go. It seems like they will hold up well and are a great price. I know the Ferrea springs are great as well, but the price is a little too steep for my liking. I'll let everyone know how I make out.

The Ferrea springs would be aight and not too pricey if it weren't for having to have to buy the Titanium retainers also. lol...

You need titanium retainers for any dual spring set-up. The stock retainers won't work them. The supertech springs come with retainers though!

They truly are. With the 3 different variations of spring pressures, it's impossible to lose:

Yeah, I did Bates on my first engine and one of them broke, which destroyed everything.
