Do you have any information on how much your cobalt ss exhaust system will be, and when will it be released?

Thanks,

Mike

that downpipe will not work on the cobalt, unless they changed the angles and are sending o2 extension cables

That is probably just a demo model and not the one that will actually be released. Vibrant is usually pretty good with test fitting their parts on vehicles before they release them to the public.

We have carried Vibrant for the cavalier/Sunfire, exhust, strut bars, ect.

We will contact them on the 3rd and get this pricing. At that time we will setup a pre purchase group buy.

yeah please do try and set up a group buy! I'm ready! They've been telling me for months that they were working on a full exhaust so i've been holding out for them. I know they are gonna have 4-2-1 Long Tube Header design and a High-flow Cat setup. This is the system i've been waiting for! Hopefully the pricing is fair!

Is 1k a conservative estimate? Cuz I wouldn't mind paying that for a header back...

The 4-1 long tube shown will flow better than a 4-2-1.

I feel like a broken record player always repeating myself between here and the other Cobalt board...

But....from the best of my understanding, a long tube header won't make any more power than a standard short runner header on a forced induction motor.

The long runners are for scavenging, which forced induction motors don't need any help with. So there will be no benefit (assuming the flow is the same, same quality, etc....)

they originally told me it was a 4-1 header. They changed it to get some more mid range power.

Look at the picture again. It's a 4-2-1 header. The primaries are long, and then they merge together into two secondaries toward the end, and finally into one opening. This header is design to give the best of both worlds.

Granted the secondaries are real short and won't do much for torque, they are still there. I am sure though that this header will definately help out the SS/SC power band greatly.

you're joking right?

that is called a 4-1 header, this is what a 4-2-1 header looks like

just because it has a y adapter for a collector doesn't make it a 4-2-1

I think it is great that all of these companies are making exhausts, but I really just want to hear the pacesetter exhaust, I love their mufflers' sound!

Ok, stright from Vibrant as Zinner posted before.
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...hlight=vibrant
If I am wrong I'll admit i'm wrong, but I do think it is seriously a 4-2-1 header. I am not trying to be argumentative. I am simply going off of what I believe it is from a design point.
