trust me, I talked to them they changed they're design form a 4-1 to a 4-2-1. That must have been an old prototype.

Hi Mike

We are sending it out to dealers today. A formal "press release" will be posted on our site in a few days when our web guy gets back from vacation.

Sorry to keep you waiting.

Thanks

Hi,

I was told via email that pricing and information for the cobalt ss exhaust system would be released today January 3rd. I don’t see anything on your site, or the internet, has anything been released???

Thanks,

Mike

that header you see on the site is the 4-1 for the redline

the exhaust system is due out shortly or out now

i have the prototype on my SS

there is no header for the SS yet just the redline

will be shortly. just need to get back to dino with a car.

I have been giving my vehicles to dino and the boys at vibrant for years

always great guys and awsome products

you will most likely see more from them very soon regarding these vehicles

Thanks

unless the retrofit the redline header they dont have one as of yet

unless gotten from elsewhere but we are usually pretty good on communication on that stuff

they used my friends redline to do the prototype header and exhaust on as well mark abate from sound choice

his ion is pretty nuts over on the redline forums

So is this right?

No header and downpipe for the Cobalt SS/SC, Just number 1627 wich is the 3 inch catback.

Danmit. I need to get this car fixed and I would love to just replace the header and downpipe with aftermarkwt instead of buying the stock parts, then upgrading later.

Besides it is hard as **** to get the stock downpipe from the dealer. WTF??

considering what you are getting...I don't think it's THAT expensive. It's a name brand that can be trusted. $1400 gets you EVERYTHING from the engine block to the tip. 3" all around, high flo cat, smal res, NICE headers, downpipe...EVERYTHING.

Just got off the phone with my guys over at Vibrant, they are testing the cobalt ss and ion redline systems today. The non ss models they are testing in the next day or two. If all goes well as they hope the parts will be available mid march.

Just thought i would pass on an update from them.

Pacesetters Monza Perf. exhaust has a system out for the 05-06 Cobalt, dunno if it fits the SS, doing a search on that now, but if anyone wants to help me from going insane from my A.D.D you can just tell me if there is a diff in the different Cobalts exhaust dealing with fitment.

Some of these aftermarket companies really make you scratch your head some times. How in the world do they expect people to know about their products, besides those that go to s.e.m.a.? Ads in useless magazines like 'turbo magazine'.

The last email I got from them said something about how their "webmaster was on vacation." and they were waiting for him to get back to get updates on the page. That was last week or the week before. If they are anything like your a-typical aftermarket company I'd expect the system to be out later rather then sooner. I'd say March is a good estimate.

Save for the Corsa Sport system like me

And for a third straight post....

I really haven't decided on what exhaust to buy. One day I think magnaflow, the next I think corsa. Once I get $500 saved up, it'll be tough to not go buy the magnaflow.

the only reason i am waiting on the Vibrant because it's a 3" S.S. Catback System. Corsa and magnaflow are real nice but they are 2.5". Dino said retail is $595 on the the 3" S.S. Catback. We will see what the dealers offer us. It's hard but just be patient and wait to see what they have to offer before you buy something.
