ok so im looking into getting the vibrant header and downpipe with the catalytic converter (im getting their exhaust too but that doesnt pertain to my question). my question is: will the header/dp combo turn on my check engine light or what? thanks.

It may just like any other aftermarket exhaust can. All you would need is a cel eliminator.

I have the Vibrant header and dp and I haven't had a cel.

 

i have the vibrant header/dp and corsa exhaust i had the the header dp on for 6 months and had no cel i put the exhaust on about a month ago and i just got a cel yesterday. P0420 catylist inefficency
and what is a cel eliminator does it get rid of the code forever or what ???

 

A vibrant header downpipe combo is over 600 dollars!
Thier is the ZZP Group buy going on check it out it's in my sig.
The ZZP is better than Vibrant from what I've been told so check into it.
Just giving you options!

 

It is basically an extension of the the 02 bung. I haven't had that code come back since I put it on. It is a tight fit and you may have to cut out a 3/4" hole for the wires not to rub but it is easy to do.
