Vibrant Header

I went ahead and purchased a Vibrant Header the other day and I got to thinking about what the differences in diameter size of the end of the Vibrant 2.5" header to my stock LSJ exhaust header was. I brought out the Micrometer and found out that the stock header is 2.6 which is a hair over 2 1/2" and the downpipe is the same. If I remember correctly everyone was saying that it was 2 1/4" diameter?? The V header read a hair over 2.3 which is around 2 1/4". I know the V header has better flow, but I want to know what is going on with this. I know every machine shop has its tolerances, but that is usually an 1/8th" tolerance. Any one else notice this? Any opinions?

the stock header has a smaller inner diameter than the aftermarket ones.

I dunno, I think it's a mustang dyno. I'd just go to dyno dans in lincoln if I was you. That's where I went.

Can't you just buy a zzp downpipe and have a shop retrofit it? That's probably the only way to get everything together but make sure it's stainless. It sounds schaweet by the way.

Will the ZZP downpipe even matchup to the Vibrant header? Will I need to cut off the flange and reweld a new one on? what is the major difference of the zzp vs the vibrant header? Same length or not?

Come on guys...I need some answers cause I am hurting here drastically!
