I was looking at the Vibrant header with magnaflow cat will I still need a DP and whoever has this is it a good header??

 

The vibrant setup is a combo, not just a header. Meaning it comes with a header and a downpipe. I have it and i think it sounds awesome and is definitely an improvement over stock. The only problem is that it has a small collector which will restrict you when you go for big power. I'd say anything under 270whp should be fine. I'm currently running a 2.8 60# setup and the collector hasn't been an issue yet.

 

would it be better just to go with the zzp header dp combo Im lookin at running a 2.6 I have the parts just finishing out my build

 

CIA header DP would be my recomendation

i have had the ZZP combo and i had huge issues with Header/DP exhaust leaks

 

I would go with the zzp combo personally but we all are different, I think that combo is the cheapest out there and is still really good quality.

 

The vibrant combo will still be fine at those levels. Just make sure you get some cooling mods cause the 2.6 will run the m62 real hot. As far as ZZP goes, they make great stuff so its your choice. Although I don't believe they offer their setup in stainless steel (however I could be wrong).
