Vibrant Header

This is for the people who just took delivery of there Vibrant header. I did a search and really couldn't find what I was looking for so I posted this. If there is a thread somewhere please don't flame my ass for not looking good enough. I am after all in Iraq and only have 30 minutes every few days to search for things.

1) How was the install? Did everything mate up like it's surposed to? or did you bring it to a exhaust shop?
2) Any dyno numbers yet?
3) What's the average supporting mods most have with it?(Catback, stage kits, ect.)
4) Did you get a CEL?
5) How does it sound and feel?

any help would be great. I've been ordering parts since I got here and all I need now is a quilty header.

I don't think anyone actually has one of these installed yet.

Little tip, if you plan on mating this with the Vibrant catback, I would take it to a muffler shop and have them chop the flanges off both and re-weld 3" ends onto it. Both the header and catback drop to 2.5" at the collector so that it could be bolted up with the stock system.

No point in trying to have 3" all the way back and have it dropping to 2.5".

so the collector is only 2.5 or do you mean the flange before the resonator?

One the header, it drops to 2.5" right before the flange on the end of the DP part. The header is actually 3", sorry for confusion. Its only like this so it can bolt up to the stock exhaust. Any muffler shop should be able to hack it and weld it to make a true 3".

1) Install wasn't bad after getting out the factory stripped Manifold to Down pipe bolts out!
2) I got 7 1/2 Hp & 18 wtq
3) I got it with the GMPP Sport it hooks up to stock or aftermarket!
4)NO
5) Love it & I put up a thread during Christmas of Vid & Dyno Numbers!

The Vibrant my friend got was 2.5, not 3. Install wasn't bad minus cutting the heater core pipe coming out of the block that it was hitting. I'll search and get a link to what we had to do.

No there is no fuse you can pull. Just find a local person with HPTUNERS and get them to disable the code for you.

I'm pretty sure if you disable a code they would have no idea. Good luck man.
