Hey. I haven't heard much about a header for our cars lately. Has Vibrant come out with their long tube header for our car? And also, does SCdyne exist anymore? I know they were having some trouble. I also know that TOG is out of business.

 

If you can hold of, wait for hahn to come out with his header.

 

Vibrant I don't know about but I sent an email to scdyne 4 days ago and no response so he has likely gone the way of TOG.

 

Vibrant is doing a bit more tweeking on their header. They built one for the Ion Redline but there is enough difference in the way that engine sits in the body vs. the way it does in the Cobalt SS that they are going to make some changes so the runners aren't so close to the firewall of the SS.

It's a beautiful header though (they tested it and the 3" exhaust on my car) Both are absolutly amazing. All mirror polished T304 stainless and mandral bends with tig welds. I can't wait to get it on for the final testing. Their header also includes a big down pipe with their new design of hi-flow cat. converter.

 

It will be a pretty penny though

 

I would try to stay away from SCdyne (or do COD). I had a few emails from members that got ripped off. They are not a vendor on here.
