You have just described my car exactly i have same thing as you. I actually perfer it without the red inserts it looks cleaner to me.

If you live in Oakville we should hook up some time i am close by.....

i havent talked to many red cobalt owners but the two i ran into

i forgot to check one, but shifty's cobalt is black inserts

 

you know what i thought was sort of weird...it was seeing a grey ss with red inserts...didnt seem to fit right...but that was just me.

The Red inserts just make it too much red, when you already have a red car. I have the Victory Red SS/SC with all black interior, with red inserts just to much going on.

 

We need to have a meet now that the weather is better. Missasuaga is probably a good place seems to bein the middle of everybody in the GTA.

Red is the most popular color w/ red seat inserts, because that is what GM trademarked the SS off at the shows and the cars they gave to ppl like Gravana and such...I almost bought a red with red inserts but they had a black one w/ G85 and then I was sold....

 

I just picked up an 06 victory red SS/SC with the red inserts and no limmited slip.. I guess that would be th G85 option?
