Rod I can't stop looking at the pictures of turbo setup!! Me personally I'm not that knowledgeable of turbos and I can't for the life of me figure out how your setup is going to work based on the most recent pictures. Please ease my pain and explain to me how it works!!!

I have an extreme amount of respect for someone that can do this. I put a turbo on my 01 Grand Am GT, and I thought that was an accomplishment. Looks awesome, I like the way you have the manifolds setup. The smaller turbo should boost pretty quick which should make the larger turbo spool quick and you should have amazing power. Do you think you will be able to hit 1000 h.p.?

He will easily hit 1000hp. Goal is to hit 1100rwhp as said in his sig. Which with this setup I think he will def make it plus some.

There are components that are not yet installed which have some bearing on the layout. There are Turbo Switching Valves as well as huge charge pipes that need to go under the hood yet.
Believe it or not, the turbo plumbing should be complete by the weekend, as JBP is really pulling out all the stops to get this part of the project done.

That is the expectations of this system.
I do want to clarify once again, this system is being designed and built by JBP.

I say 1100 while JBP says 1200bhp.
1,000rwhp will make me happy, very happy.

Back to the pictures....

Okay I have a bit of an update and a few more teaser pictures.
The project has been moving along at a good pace since it arrived at JBP.
The engine bay stuff is 80% done and just waiting for the welder to finish welding the turbo header. Once that is done the remaining turbo plumbing will be finished.
The wiring has commenced on the inside of the car and there is an almost complete concept drawing for the interior of the car. I should aslo have more pictures later this weekend.

One of two water pumps. These electric pumps are for both the cooloing system and the intercooler.

The new fuel pump.

Custom race muffler.

Odds and ends

lol, damn anti theft crap, there goes my secret road trip ton canada.
Anyway man, glad to hear there's more progress, I'm definitely going to take the ride up north to check this thing out when it's done. I have a few days off for the memorial day weekend, so it looks like I'll be tearing down my whole car and redoing everything, yay.... (sarcasm lol) But it should be up and running with a forged motor, exedy clutch, cams and a few other little goodies to put me @450whp on pump gas, hoping to crack 500whp on c16 but I dunno if I want to push it that far at the moment. I'm thinking of starting a new project for next winter after I move upstate, CI 6.0 block, L92 headed, single turbo, fuel injected, T56 tranny'd monte (yeah another one lol) trying to get back to the 900+whp world of RWD, this FWD **** is killing me

Wiring is not for me either. Because we are putting everything where the back seat used to be, there is miles of new wiring being done, by a professional. They are even making a "user manual" as they go.

I figured you and a few others might have been liking the idea of "test driving" the car. When JBP said they picked me up a "Viper", I said "you bought me another car" Apaparently, this alarm does everything, including paging me when someone even looks at the car funny.

Sounds like that will be a busy and long "long weekend".
What year of Monte are you looking to build this time.

With that many Monte's, it sounds like an addiction or a love/hate type relationship.

I love em, but they sure hate me lol.
I'm just so used to working on em, I can build one in a weekend now. but this one I want to make daily driveable and 1000rwhp, 2nd to last one was 912whp, but totally un-streetable, well if you don't mind no power brakes, steering, and less than 5mpg lol.
