Talking Video Of Flowmaster 40 Series

Alright after a long period of time, i finally got some video of my SS/SC with just a flowmaster 40 series. I did this because i see it as pretty pointless to buy the several hundred dollar systems that are out right now. I paid $100 bucks for the muffler, and to have it installed, and to have the stock tip mounted all together, very good bargain. It is impossible to tell that it has anything done to it, until its running that is. The raspiness in the vid is because of the camera, there is very little of this in real life. Look at how the front wheel seems like it isnt moving when i get off that speed bump, friggin crazy. Most imoportantly i would like to thank MarcS very much for helping with the vids. When you click the link a message is probably going to come up about the extension not matching the link, just click to play the file anyways and it should be fine. Enjoy and leave some comments.

Vid outside of car-

Hey nice vid, thanks for posting.

Unfortunately though I could only watch the outside camera vid, as the same link was posted for both

Please fix, I definitely like to see (and hear) the engine from inside the car

Whoa sounds different. I like the way it sounds when it isn't at high RPM.

it is more distorted at high rpms than at low, so that is where most of the poor sound comes into play

again, the raspiness at the high rpm's is because of the camera, its too loud for the camera then

ould not watch either of them, so if you could repost i would appreciate as this is a mod that I am thinking of doing. Since we already have a pretty thick exhaust pipe. Any change in performance in your opinion?

wow thanks for that post because it sounds like satan's ******* in a blender. i appreciate any posts with sound clips because so far not a single one has sounded good.... there needs to be a resonator at the tip like the one modern perf. posted... i'd like to hear it before i give up all hope of a nice sounding exhaust for our cars

the stock muffler is sooo much louder with the tog header, i might just keep it on because it sounds f'n sweet even if it does suck up 10 hp
