Angry Video: Supercharger whine and some clutch slippage!

Here's a little run down the street with the clutch slipping. Sounds like a jet with the intake and stage 1.

StreetRun1

Street Run 2

You can hear the clutch through the shifts.

does a slipping clutch sound the same as when a person rides the clutch too much when shifting? never heard what one sounds like...

sounds like you let off the clutch too soon shifting gears and had already punched it going into second and rode the clutch instead of it actually slipping

Similiar to my problem!
Stock clutch can't transfer the Torque properly without slipping. It has nothing to do how I shift if the clutch don't engage and transfer the power.

Learn to shift better! Your clutch shouldn't be slipping like that. Or was your foot not on the clutch?

I can shift fine. My foot wasn't on the clutch. Its a stock clutch and it doesn't engage properly like Rob said "lack of clamping pressure."

I get that all the time when powershifting 1-2, but not 2-3 or 3-4 or 4-5. Is there anything we can do to increase the clamping power.

Merc you only have an intake correct? With a smaller pulley it is prominent even with the best driver. The clutch cant hold the power...And yes its only happens from 1st to second, no problem going through any other gears.

Yeap seems to be happen frequent on the modded SS's and rl's. Increased clamping power=new racing clutch(stage 2 or greater)
