Wanna change shift knob??

i wanna put i different shift knob on .. is there anything i have to do to get rid of the lift-to-reverse thing?

Stock knob is not threaded on, either gonna have to do some custom work to thread the shaft or pick up an aftermarket shifter

so with an aftermarket knob how is the reverse going to work? because the stock knob would have to lift.. or it doesn't matter and it just depends on the knob how to reverse?

Cut off the piece of plastic that the reverse lockout uses. Several people have done it before. Search like reverse lockout delete or something.

It's pretty easy to figure out the reverse issue once you get the console out.

For all the work put into it, I'd recommend just getting a TWM short throw shifter and then a new threaded knob. I love mine.
