warranty work question

okay so i have a dp and exhaust waiting to be put on my car, im going to do it tomorrow.

now i have a oil leak coming out of the transmission where the p/s axel connects to the tranny, i think i need to take it to the dealer asap to get fixed.

should i wait to install the exhaust so when i take it to the dealer they dont give me ****(i really want to install it) or should i install it and then take it to the dealer. just wondering i know the magnusson moss act and they have to fix it i just dont feel like arguing with them

any input would be great thanks and i dont think my dealer is a pain in the ass like some are about mods

Since you should get to the dealer asap, do that first and don't let an install delay you.

well im not going to be able to get to the dealer until atleast monday or wednesday of next week since i work and go to school during the day and by the time i get off the serive dept is closed and i NEED my car. i think im going to check the level somehow and add more fluid just so it will last me a little longer. what do you think because im going to my work(mechanic shop) after i get out of school to install it which will be about 6pm

You shouldn't have any problems, but why tempt them. Just get your problems fixed first then do the install. That is what I would do at least.

I'd hold off on the exhaust install. While technicly its not directly connect to your tranny, they could say something along the lines of the exhaust pieces gave you more power causing your tranny problem. I know how much you'd love to get your mods on, but a couple more days won't kill you, and if they void your warranty (or try to) it will become a much bigger head ache .
