Waste Gate

My hommie yesterday was looking at my car and said our waste gates are garbage or some thing that works like a waste gate on the top of our supercharger. It's a black plastic part closer to the intake side. Does anyone know what this is and he says that it makes us bleed to much boost.

That bleeds boost when your no longer making positive pressure.... Like when u take your foot off of the gas.. Yes its a like a "wastegate"... but it doesnt make us "bleed boost" randomly.

Sorry dude, but i wouldnt listen to your buddy..

I think it is due to his lack of working with supercharged cars. He works on turbo cars. he has a srt-4. and is there a better bypass valve for our cars?

Ok sounds cool and that would be cool to get a BOV on the supercharger. I know prochargers have it.
