yeah i guess the first step from here is to tune it and see what happens... i think it would be a lot easier to figure out exactly what we need to do after its tuned correctly...if it works great than no need for change...if it doesnt, then try other things... but until its tuned its all a guess IMO

true, if he's running that rich, he may have falled the plugs. something to check. but that would def cause misfires.

Ok then you are fine with the nozzle size. Please remove it from the adapter plate and do the trail spray like I suggested. I just want to make sure the ferrule is installed right and that I didn't have it backwards since it's been awhile now since I did mine.

What also could be happening is that the suction created behind the TB is overcoming the 16psi crack pressure of the checkvalve. I actually had the same issue when I tried to hook up my kit into the adapter plate below my twinscrew. I had to get an electric solenoid to control it that failed shortly thereafter, so I found a 25psi checkvalve to do the trick. It's just far easier to drill the intake like I did and put it in there. This is what I resorted back to in the end, and what currently works great for me.

that is from additives in our ca. premiumgas even with mine before the throttle body and a check valve if i take off the intake tube theres a small puddle there like engine vaccum is pulling the meth by the check valve... something i havent fixed yet either, but iv had no problems so far and not seeing a loss in fluid... dont know if this helps any? i need a tune for meth bad guys... can you help? im also thinking about joining!

It is a bit pricey, but it does work great and has the highest cracking pressure on the market. If I remember correctly, I got the nickel plated one with the ends. The cracking pressure is 22psi, not 25 like I stated before. The one that comes with the Devil's Own kit should work perfect though if the jet is placed in the intake.

hmm well i didn't drill a hole in the k and n but i did drill the stock intake and use that. ( I don't have a tap for the k and n) i believe the nozzle is spraying correct ly the slotted end is facing out and the othere ferreld end is facing in. anyway if i can get my k and n drilled and tapped it will be going back in today but yeah i think im not gonna use the adapter piece.

Before you drill into the intake can you please do the spray check first. This is just for my peace of mind. I want to make sure I'm not bass akwards on the ferrule. I wish I could just go to your house and take a look around the car and get it right for you. Internet instructions and lack of memory are owning me it seems!

LOL ok man when i get home today i will pull the nozzle off and see if it is spraying a mist or a stream. if i could get a little nut for the other nozzle I have i would use that one. its weird how DO uses outside nozzles they don't give you enough threads for the nozzle to really get a bite.

The old nozzles give you plenty of room. I wonder if they can still get them. Sort of sucks that I miss placed my extra spares I bought. I need to find those bastards when I get home!
