ok so i like the looks and the sound of the magnaflow cat back. who sells the system the cheapest? the lowest i found was for 575 shipped. would it be better/cheaper to just buy that or to buy the res. and muffler (which would be $146.90) then have a shop fab up the rest of the system? if a shop fabbed it up. about how much would it cost for a 2.5 stainless steel system? i would just call but i am currently in japan so that makes it a little hard to call.

Theres a site for a 2.5" Exhaust (stainless) with a magnaflow muffler and tip on it for 255...

An exhaust shop could weld it up for like 50 60 bucks....Maybe less.

You can always buy the 4 dollar metal clamps at autozone, they work..

oh ok. i was under the impression that it was stainless. if it is aluminized then thats cool. when i get home from my deployment i am going to call some shops. probably just buy the res and muffler and have them fab something up.

Take your chances w/ aluminized if you want, but stainless is absolutely worth the money if it's a DD and you plan to keep the car for a few years...
