ya they have a sensor that tells ur comp that eveything is ok...the diff between long tube and shortys is that with a long tube...the headers are meeting at a longer point causing better airflow and better tq gains...longtube is always better then ur basic header regaurdless of engine type.

Does it look like I could weld a high-flow cat in there after the tubes join into one piece?

where is the o2 simulator. Pics? I don't believe this yet. I have been talking to companies that specialize in o2 sims, and they say they still don't have one out for our cars. unless they just hacked the wires and did it the irreversible way then expect to get a CEL. and at least in PA, if you have a CEL at all your car won't pass. they hook up through odb2 here as well. and if the light was on within the last 300 miles they know.

no astrocrep it does not hook up to the stock exhuast, becuase of its length u will have to modify whatever exhuast u have on ur car to fit, its not that bad nor that noticable, just time consuming to get it done...ill contact weapon r on this whole O2 sim just to make sure i get things cleared up.

Hello everyone we are here to answer some questions you may have. I am posting a pic of what our CEL eliminator is, it is nothing electrical so its a easy install and fix if you are getting the codes. Also the CEL Elminator is included when you purchase the header.

How fake is Staff@WR??? lmao!!
That cel eliminator has been out for a long time and is not made by weapon-R.
Here is where he got the pic. It's a universal piece that dosen't work well.

Right! LOL! And no they don't work. I have been in countless car forums and whenever that product is brought up there are nothing but bad things said about it. How does it work when people are still getting cel's?

like every other part... no. but it ill most likely void the rest of your exhaust warrenty.
and that o2Sim doesn' t work, not only did i try it, but also making your own from nonfouler spark plugs. They don't work.

Until a company comes out with one that plugs into the end, or fits in the cat and then the o2 sensor goes into it, you WILL get a CEL.

Staff@WR, can you make one that meets up with the factory exhaust point and has a cat converter? I think this is what everyone really wants. Or maybe I'm on my own here.

Actually, Staff@WR is part of our Sales staff here at Weapon*R. The CEL Eliminator that we offer does work on the Cobalt SS, as it does on the ION Redline, Scion tC, Celica GTS, and Lotus Elise, just to name a few. You're welcome to do a search through any of the forums covering those vehicles to get first hand accounts from our customers running it. Electronic O2 SIMS do not work, nor do homemade antifouler adapters. We have had over 5000 miles worth of testing on these units, on various vehicles, with NO returning CEL lights. Our CEL Eliminator is designed to pull the O2 out of the gas stream, and is restricted internally to greatly reduce the amount of hydrocarbons that the O2 measures.

We are the original manufacturer of this CEL Eliminator design. The link that was posted by CTCOBALTSSS was to one of our DEALERS, which sells WEAPON*R/Exige MotorWerks products. You're more than welcome to call StickerCity and verify this information with the owner Andy. You can see that the image posted here and on StickerCity's website comes from OUR website: http://www.weapon-r.com/store/agora....&ppinc=search2

If anyone has further questions, feel free to contact me: ray.fong@weapon-r.com
