The CEL Eliminator that we offer does work on the Cobalt SS, as it does on the ION Redline, Scion tC, Celica GTS, and Lotus Elise, just to name a few. Electronic O2 SIMS do not work, nor do homemade antifouler adapters. We have had over 5000 miles worth of testing on these units, on various vehicles, with NO returning CEL lights. Our CEL Eliminator is designed to pull the O2 out of the gas stream, and is restricted internally to greatly reduce the amount of hydrocarbons that the O2 measures.
