Went to the Dyno today

Well went and got my car dyno'd today to get some baseline numbers before I started more heavily modding such as pulleys and injectors. I did two pulls and my best of the day was 218 hp and 197 tq. My mods are in my sig. I was happy with it.

not bad for no tuning or smaller pulley, what are your plans?

i'm going to go with 60lb injectors and a 2.7 pulley. I don't know whether to go heat exchanger or dual pass. Then i'll have the same shop dyno tune it.

damn dude i dynoed my car today with injen intake only on dyno jet dyno

^^^so nice numbers for just cai. What was your a/f ratio. I was running 11.2

Since we have no 1:1 ratio what gear is everyone dyno'ing in? I would imagine 4th since it's closer to 1:1???

11.8 which i thought was a little rich

3rd gear pull
im hoping when i do my 60# 2.6 and hp tune ill be around 270 whp i am gonna dyno it again when i do the mods

You doing a third gear pull is the reason your numbers are so high. I did a 4th gear pull because it is closer to 1:1. Everyone i've seen doing a third and fourth gear pull the third gear pull is always way higher

these are back to back runs the blue one is in 3rd gear, the red one is in 4th.... you can see the difference.

not for sure you will see a big increase, but when you have it dyno tuned it will give them more room to play with and keep you IAT temps down

I think I am also going to run meth injection

Third=263/231 fourth=247/228. Big difference. Difference in third from 1:1 is .18 over and fourth is .11 under. So we will never get a true reading. It will either be high or low I guess.

well it doesn't really matter, the dyno is mainly for tuning although it is nice for braggin rights

^^Yeah it wont be a true reading i'm just saying you can't compare a dyno with a third gear pull next to a fourth gear pull
