What to do?
What to do?
Should I just do stage 2 stuff this summer or should i go for broke and save until i can get 60's and a 2.7 pulley with a trifecta tune? is that even a good idea? all i have besides that is a CAI. remember that this is my daily driver and it has a stock clutch. (of course, no matter what when i replace said clutch i'll upgrade the thing.)
stage 2 is going to cost more then anything else, I and many others are going to recommend that you go with ottp stage 1. They will send you everything you need, 60lbers a 2.8 inch pulley and a tuned pcm.
Hm.... I think you hit it right on the head haha....
My gf might help me buy hptuners for my birthday
.. i cant wait.
Im FINALLY getting a 3" exhaust... Im just getting a crush bent one. ALOT cheaper... and really, hungryhip is running a 3" crush bent and he says hes having no problems.

I think i have some things figured out..
I kinda understand resetting the fuel trims to get the MAF in tune..
Im just not sure how to make that extra get up besides going through timing and such...
I have the program i am just unable to save any tune files since i dont have the box.
But every minute of your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hptuners is much better, I just saw someone post a pic of this program in the thread where vince from trifecta is talking about implementing a no lift shift option and a rev limter for the lsj via ecu tuning.
edit: get back on aim lol.

You need the H/E with a 2.7 bro. And you'll need the 60s.
But idk. I'm happy with my GMS2 and it's cool to know in the back of your head that you're still under warranty
If you're looking for cheaper/faster.. Go with the 60's / 2.7
If you're looking for peace of mind (warranty wise) and not AS fast as the previous option.. (But still CONSIDERABLY faster than what you have now) go with the GM Stage 2 Kit.

i have GM stage 2, and when i upgrade to 2.8 and 60s i will def get dual bypass, i wouldnt mess around with overheating your engine, im just stage 2 and i already have a h/e, but when i do upgrade once my warranty is up, im getting dual bypass and meth, to ensure no overheating lol but then again im on a stock clutch that hasnt slipped yet, so hopefully it will last, ive heard our clutches are rated for 300 hp so hopefully i can get to that with no slippage
yes i would get it first rather than get the pulley and injectors, that way once you get them, you already know that you have the cooling mods needed rather that worrying that on the wrong hot day you could blow you **** up cuz u didnt get the cooling mods, my next item is dual bypass then meth, after i get those installed my pulley and injectors and tune are the final piece
i've honestly heard that our clutches could be a lot better. wouldn't suprise me. i glazed mine a little bit a while back and didn't even do much to it. i know how to drive, so it wasn't that.
get the ottp stage 1 kit and get a front h.e atleast to start. then get a dual pass. atleast get the h.e if u do get the kit. even a cobra heat exchanger will work for a start thats what i got for now until i upgrade mines
