What to do questions

Hello Guys im new to the forum and had some questions about the Cobalt SS S/C that i hope you guys can help me with. I will be purchacing an SS in a few weeks once i close on my house and i will have about $1500.00 to spare. I would like to go faster and i just wanted to know what you guys would suggest. Im not looking to do nitrious at this time so lets leave that one out of it. Whatwould you buy and what kind of gains would i expect. I know that my question is most likely asked somewere else in the forum but i dont feel like looking. Thanks Guys. I saw a few videos in here and one impressed me i think it was catsSS running some good pulls againts a 350z. What does she have done to that car.

Well let me welcome you to the forum.

Before I really give any suggestions, what's your ultimate power goal or 1/4 mile goal?
If you're just looking for something mild, I'd say look towards the GM Stage kits.

How much money are you looking to spend overall?

You shouldn't be far away from running 13s if you are getting good at driving a decently powerful FWD car and launching good.

If you wanna just break into 13s, you could possibly do that with a smaller pulley...or...you could buy some big boy toys like a new valvetrain system. You'd see a great gain from there.
