Was wondering what you guys used to clean your MAF and where did you get it? Thanks.

 

Get some MAF cleaner! Electronics cleaner will work as well. You get it at Pep Boys, Autozone, etc.

 

CRC cleaner. It's brake cleaner. I dunno how well it works but I have sprayed a ton on my maf and it still works

 

you can also use "intake cleaner" wont harm the sensor ive used it tons of times. Essentially this stuff is all the same primarly acetone other chemicals.... needs to evaporate without leaving residue

 

So I can use brake cleaner?

 

to be sure spray some on the garage floor, or something that dosnt absorb well...
once it dries see if there is any residue there if there isnt your good to use it on your MAF. Over time prolong use of these chemicals will dry out the plastics of the sensor but you wont have any problems if you just use it when you need it.

 

I threw it out and got another,cleaner did not work for me
