forget stage 2, i feel that i should have just gotten stage 1 and added my own pulley.. much cheaper, and you still get the advantage of not seeing your CEL everytime you do a new mod..

dude, did you really beat an intense car? did the guy just get it? i cant see that happening if he was familiar with his new power

how long did you have to wait before it got in your hands? and does it come with everything the dealership needs to install it?

yes it came with everything. From order to receive, probably 2-3 days. It really depends on UPS. Mine shipped out the next day (and I ordered it at 10:30PM my time)

The SII kit is a good performance mod for the money if you still want to keep your manufacturer's warranty! So with that said I think it is great, most of us either still have it or had it at one point, it's a good starting point! I have it myself along with an intake and the GMPP header (which will be leaving soon!) and it is a completely different car!

As was said above, yes it has everything needed to install. I did mine myself with some friends in about 4 hours.

Definately shop around for price if you are going to have the dealership do it!

GM stage2 is certainly an improvement over the stock setup. But if you plan on going further in performance (pullies, injectors) down the road, don't waste your money.
+2 gm stage kits are limmited i regreted buying mine less than a week after word good power increase but eventually you'll end up replacing the stage 2 componants to go bigger so my oppinion is go bigger from the start! don't waste your money.....

People would be putting on some small ass pulleys and blowing them up though. 2.4-2.5"s and blaiming the car for the problems lol.

Here is the real question. Does anyone have 1/4 mile times with GM STG2? No CAI or exhaust. Oh, traction mods are okay!

Sounds good to me! I am pretty good driver so high 13's would be good enough for me. The one thing that seems good about GM STG2 is it is safe on the engine as long as you stay away from swapping to smaller pulleys. Hopefully I will have STG2 by next years tax season. This year I'm going to Mexico after taxes!

It all depends on what you want out of the car. Mine is my daily driver and only car, so I want to keep my warranty and get a nice power increase without really worrying about things coming apart. That's why I got the GMPP Stage 2.

i hate my damn stage 2 kit the only reason i got it was to have a tune to work off of when i get hp tuners and so when i blow my motor i can show them that its a gm kit thats on my car

just get the stage 1 to stage 2 upgrade for like 325 and then buy your own injectors and then you can sell the injectors when you go for more power , and to tell you the dead honest truth i raced a guy that had intense stage 5 magnaflow catback and intake , i have stage 2 airbox mod header and downpipe he BARELY pulled on me it was a really good race and he was barely pulling i dont know why
