My msrp was shy of 26Gs for a base model. I would consider it for sure.

EDIT: With the rising canadian dollar I would round it up to an alright deal. You might be able to get something extra or get him to knock it down a thousand.

You can get a better deal. I went to 3-4 dealers before I bought mine. Just tell the dealer you found a better price somewhere else, tell him a price you want, and if he says we can't beat it, say ok and leave. I told the dealer where i got mine is, he said they'd be loosing money if he got it lower than $410/month CAD and i said well, i'll go back to the other place, and he lowered it at $394/month CAD. Do you really need all those options? I paid 27.5k or 28k taxes in! I didn't take xm or onstar. Useless as I'm putting in another h/u and onstar? I got my cell phone lol... Just my 2 cents

The fact that you can drive away with it instead of having to order one is a plus.

I second that. Although, I ordered mine on a Tuesday and it was ready already at the dealer on Thursday, but i went to go pick up my baby on Friday! My mother had to wait almost a week and a half for her Wave! I waited like 2-3 days and mine came from Quebec City!! Fast delivery if you ask me! hehee

I live in Newfoundland, Canada and this is the only black ss/sc in Atlantic canada for sale. Is it even possible to order a 2006 still without getting it from another dealership?

I think you can do better. I paid $18,800 for mine brand new and it's the same as you described. Just hold out and wait for labor day sales. That's how I got mine so cheap.

That seems like a really good price for here in Canada.
The americans on this site also need to know that the Canadian price is not simply a currency conversion, it seems as though we get raped up here in Canada when it comes to car prices.
For example base for an sti
$32 995
$48 995
Oh well what can you do...
