Talking What Exhaust Should I Go With ?

I Currently Have A Cobalt SS/SC 05

A Stage 2 Installed, Injen Intake, Short Header With 3" Exit & 3 " Dp With High Flow Cat, I'm Running On Stock Exhaust.

I Want To Get A Better Exhaust, I was looking around & I found the pacesetter exhaust for about 300 $ its a 2.5" catback i believe but from what people say it has an internal diameter of 2.25 " like the gmpp one .however it has better flow than stock.

Should I Go With That Or Should I Get A Bigger Exhaust ? I'm not trying to lose torque or Hp by going bigger than I need to

Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated

id hate to see what your definition of loud is. but the hahn sounds sick as hell one of the best out there you wouldnt lose too much with a 3in but dont go less than 2.5

From my research, a 3" is to big in my opinion for anything under a 2.7" pulley with full bolt-ons. A 3" is really only a necessity for a TVS or Turbo. With your set up, you would gain maybe 1-5hp over a 2.5" exhaust, if anything at all. You would also lose 15-25 lbs./ft. of torque with a 3" vs. a 2.5". My recommendation is to go with a 2.5" Stainless Steel exhaust system. Examples: Mandrelbentexhaustsystems.com, Magnaflow, SLP, CTi, etc.....

Hahn does sound really nice though imo.

I've been thinking about the SLP loud mouth. I also live in driving distance of SLP so I could go direct to them.
