You already spent money on your current exhaust so it seems like a waste to throw it away. You could probably squeeze a little more power from a 2.5, but its most likely not worth the money it would take to redo the whole exhaust.

You have stage 2 already, so getting 60lber's is a waste of your entire stage 2 because you are gonna need a new tune, injectors, pulley, and most likely some cooling mods.

What are you looking for as a base number for your power goals?

To each their own I guess. I was just trying to help you.

If you really like your cat-back then sell your manifold and dp. Use that money on a FMIC.

I am not looking for ultimate performance like yours victory red though your project is awesome. I am just looking for some low to mid 13's I will probably just go with the tranny mounts first as suggested.
First and foremost, Im just screwing off, no need to get your panties all in a bunch....

Rotaries don't "drink" oil. A quart every 1000-1500 miles is not "drinking" oil. (How many quarts do you think BBC and SBC drank back in the day, or any GM motor? New even)

While the design may not be the most efficient as far as combustion goes due to its elliptical combustion chamber, the motor itself has a great deal of potential for making more horsepower per liter than many motors out there. I also don't have to worry about floating valves, etc. Take into consideration why it was illegalized in many racing venues.

Do you actually have any personal experience with a rotary, or are you just spouting off the usual propaganda bullshit that most individuals are riddled with about a rotary?

I had an SS/SC, I drive an LT, and I've owned 2 RX-7s. All of them are great cars for their purpose. (READ CAREFULLY--->) IN MY OPINION, the RX-7 is a more pure sports car, and is just my preference. It would just be my opinion to start with a more lucrative platform layout as far as a car goes, rather than modify the Balt'. However, to each his own....

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and to do what they want. Thats the whole concept of that "free will" thing....

I am thinking about getting 60's and HP tuners soon but I guess I need to get the power to the ground first. Thing that really sucks for me is there is nobody around here that can tune the ecotec at all even if I did get HP tuners and I'm not tuner myself. So saying if I did get HP tuners and I had a wideband so that I could datalog and whatnot would it be possible for somebody to make me a tune and send it to me and help me tweak it with the datalog information?

you can only get so close with canned tunes over the net. my suggestion is start reading. hell read it all three times to get a grasp of the concept. i suck at math, so im still learning on the fuel side of it all. timing for me is easy, for others it's hard. so hell i dunno. baby steps. i just built off the stage 2 stuff. i got it simply because of the warranty, and somewhat of a safety blanket of just in case.
