what mods to go with???

Hello guys,

I have a ss/sc 07 with stg2, KN air intake, trans mount and torque dampener.

I am looking at adding a few mods to:

1. improve traction
2. add HP/torque

I have about $750 to $1k. what mods should I put on my balt?

H/E, exhaust, downpipe, header, strut bar, sway bar, etc...??? my goal in the future is to go 300HP but I want to add mods that will progressively help reach this goal.

thank you for your inputs...

ps. I have read many threads and found some ideas but wanted some straight input from the more experienced....

You plan on staying SC or going TC. I would buy engine mounts and then sell the td cuz you wont need it.

think about getting drag radials AND new axles
but thats gonna cost more that 1k

also, unless your a really effin' good tuner and intricately know eninge management, i would suggest against making 300 whp on the stock m62. (unless you plan on using N20).
popular solutions are the TVS which will make 300-350 whp depending on tune and supporting mods
or turbo kits which have been proven to make anywhere between 325 and 400 whp on stock internals
or the twincharge kit which is way effin amazing

so i think you should think of saving up for one of these kits if your really serious about high hp

You will be amazed how much better solid mounts are...

A good start would be a Vibrant header/downpipe/high flow cat setup (comes as a complete kit)
