what psi should I be hitting?

what psi should I be hitting?

I'm only hitting about 9? I have an 07 cobalt ss/sc and only hit 9 psi when I get on it... what should I do to fix it?

Sounds about right... you will max out at 12 psi if you are stock 15 if you are stage 2, but you have to hit redline in 3rd before you will find it!

what rpm??? all the way to 6500 you only hit 9 psi?

if its bran new may take some breaking in to get her to 12

Yeah only 9 psi ... have no idea why ... my car has 9500 miles on it.

I am getting a touch under 12. Stock 07 ss/sc.

9200 miles on it.

depends on how you read the boost gauge. most people read it wrong anyways.

I had an 05 srt-4 previous to my cobalt, I think I'm reading it right :]. But who knows. My srt-4 was at 15-16

i bet not.

each mark is simple.

lets take the 15-20 markings.

whats half way in the middle?

17.5

2.5 is the marks in the middle of said numbers. 1.25 is the little ones.

no little marks for me.... canada sucks.. lol.






anyways.....if you haven't done anything to the car lately and it still feels the same its more than possible the boost gauge itself needs to be replaced

but if you feel a performance difference from before.. then could a few things... so does the car feel the same as before?

The arrow on the boost gage is a little below the 10 psi mark on the gage.

yeah im only just above the 10psi mark if any. I wouldnt worry. our boost guages are electronic so they can be off quite a bit. no worries i think
