Get a 3" Downpipe if you're going to order a downpipe.

The stock exhaust is 2.5" but most any downpipe will bolt up to it. If you are getting a high-flow cat you might as well replace the whole downpipe as it will be much easier to do and gain you more performance. Don't worry about the sound... you'll still be able to hear the SC whine just fine.

It drops down to 2.25 right before it has to pass over the rear axle. It's 2.25 from then on. Honestly, if you don't want it too loud, you can still go 3". Buy a long-tube header and 3" dp w/ cat. Have it mated to the stock exhaust and you're set. Much deaper and a little louder. Def can still hear the S/C though...
