hey guys as some of u kno my car recently craked the number 4 piston. and it scratched the c ylinder wall any idea what i should bore it. also how much if any horsepower difference will i notice from 10 over or 20 over or 30 over?

idk about new stuff but my dads 68 charger cracked a ring and all it needed was a .30 grind. honestly, there was alot more power in that 440 after the bore...4 more cyls tho

I would advise replacing the sleeve in that one cyl, much safer that way. There isn't a lot of material in these sleeves to begin with.

The 'rebuild' was fucked anyway, each cylinder had a different compression readout then the rest. Always sounded funny when fully warmed up. Wanted to stall at times when coming to a full stop. Instead of messing with warranty this time I'm gonna order diamonds, cometic head gasket and the arp studs. I can't get my header or hpt cable now either so I figure I'll head up to Paul if he doesn't mind and have him tune it the right way.
