What would happen...

... if the dealership put non synthetic oil in my car?

Edit: The reason i ask this is because after they put non synthetic oil in it, the supercharger is now making a grinding noise.

It's all in your head. The supercharger has it's own oil for lubrication and does not use the engine's.

yep. has nothing to do with the non synthetic. i would get it changed though, and DEMAND that they change it and put in synthetic for no charge, since that is what the engine calls for and what it says on the cap.

THey already changed it back to synthetic oil. It makes a horrible sound now coming from the supercharger.

Does the supercharger have it's own place to put oil in it?

The supercharger has its own spot for oil, but you shouldnt have to add oil, its good for up to 100,000 miles, sounds to me like your bearings need grease.

Dude I just posted the same thing not ten minutes ago. I'm pretty sure the dealership put non-synthetic in my car too. I didn't get a weird noise but it seems that my car had a bit of a power loss.
