Is that what you call limp mode

Last week i was in a hurry so i get in my car and didn't let it warmup like i do everytime.
When i engaged the 2nd by flooring it a bit the car became buggy as hell, like i was running on 3 cylinder which make the whole car shaking.
There was no CEL or message from the car.
I shut it down and restart it immediately and it was fine.
I never got this trouble again (so far..)

Is that what you people call limp mode ??

Thanks

I've had this happen a couple of times before when i start my car with a low battery, the car struggles when it starts, and fires but its like only two cylinders are running, and sounds like ****. The engine also vibrates like a ****. The car reads no error codes, and you can turn it off and back on and it will run fine.

It must be some kind of glitch in the ECU

When your Odometer says "ENG RED POWER" then you have limp mode.

had this happen too me once. Car was cold. started it up turned onto a main road gave it half in first then hard into second and boom. Car started surging like crazy, felt like it was gonna stall and my a/f went way rich like 12 to 1 at idle. Went back home turned the car off let it sit for an hour and it was fine.
