blown...

so my runs like ****. it dynoed 223hp with my mods today. did a compression test and it was 185 through all four cylinders. my boost is around 18.5 and was like 17.5 before my car decided to take a ****... only think i can think of is a stuck valve or valve spring. being that i should dyno around 265..

What do you mean it runs like ****? Are there any symptoms or did it just not make the power you wanted? What kind of dyno did you put it on? Was there a particular instance where you think you broke it? If so, what happened?

Boost going up indicates a restriction somewhere, most likely exhaust, i.e. catalytic converter clogging...

Do a compression test. If that is pretty solid across the board, pull the valve cover and inspect the springs/valves...

Do you have a VCM scan file from the dyno run?

He should post it in the tuning section.

Again, do you have any specifics on how it was running to share?

Was it running poorly? Idle? WOT? Breaking up at all?

Give more details...

What size meth nozzle are you using?

i was at 6500 when it popped. its been like that for two weeks now. i knew that something wasnt right with it but the dealer said it runs to good to be broken...lol like they know how a 2.7 and 60s car runs.... the exhaust cam is scored up pretty good over the #3 hole. and there is a light scored in the intake cam over #3.

i really dont feel like posting pics right now... but text just doesnt do it justice..

idles perfect, never had any knock, afr was high 11s, 7gph nozzle. It wasn't because of the tune. He was running great when I tuned it, one night he was doing a hard pull and he felt something let loose around 6k rpm. hasnt been right since.

I wasn't blaming the tune, just hoping to get a look-see at what was going on during the dyno. VCM Scans can tell a lot...

^^ Try Imageshack.us They have an option to keep the file the same size or to compress it.

at most was about 2-3 degress but that was due to the valvetrain being fucked. the lifter was just chillin in the head in 2 pieces.
There was no KR when i tuned it. All 3 pulls were very similar to that one.

the kr was was definitely from the rocker arm floating around in there...

Ok good because that looks like roughly a 6 degree KR spike lol, I would really hope that wasn't from an actual tune. That would be like running roughly 22 degrees of timing without methanol injection/race gas.
