Thumbs down Whats up the sunroofs?

ok awhile ago my sunroof switch broke off and i was really mad about that, the thing that made me madder was that it wasent covered under warrenty. i mean i paid 1200 extra for a extended warrenty and it dosent even cover a stupid switch cover??? well tonight i was on my way home and i pulled in my driveway. shut all my windows and CRACK!! i hear a crack come front my sun roof. i get out and it dosent even shut all the way. something snaped in the track and wont let it shut on the one side. the best part it it just starts to rain. well i had to take my shirt off and put it on the open part so rain would not go in the and clear out my whole garage to put it in there.now will the sunroof be cover under warrenty?

you would have to check the details in the extended warrenty, but that exact same thing happened to mine and they ended up putting a new track in.

dude same thing happened to me like a month ago, i heard a loud ass snap when i put down my sunroof. the pics dont work but mine went down all the way one one corner and there was a 1 or 2 cm gap on the other side. of course here in pa, actually i see your from pa, this occurred when it was raining every damn day here. i tossed a trashbag in the gap with a towel behind it while i waited for the dealer to have an opening. i got it fixed under my warranty, took about 4 hours from drop off to pick up. i didnt even care to ask what exactly went wrong seeing as how it didnt cost me anything. take it to the dealer and get it straight.

we just fixed my gf sunroof yesterday with a problem like this....DONT KEEP TRYING TO MOVE THE SUNROOF......the 2 bolts in hers backed out sitting on top the ****** headliner so the gear got away from the track...once we tightened those back up and added to what the gear stipped away everything worked fine.

the switch is the worst built part of a cobalt. i already had it happen and it was replaced under the standard 36k mile warrenty.

This sunroofs are shitiiiiiiiiiiiii! and i mean it, come one our tracks are made out of plastics and the hole asamnly is made out of regular Petroleum f***ing plastic, worst mistake in ma life getting this car, because of its looks and the persormance, never in ma life im buying an america car, it is really crapp.
My dad and family friends and neigbords had HONDAS, for years and years even before i was born, maintenance every now and then and muala, a car that with hold its self in good conditons.

bad mistake changing a car worth 2000 dollars that required little maintenance easy to repair. Just need it a paint job really other than that stereo, body kit, wells, lights everything.
Only solution to that problem really are aluminum or steel tracks. . . like any other normal car would.
Now im in deb more than 10.000 dollars and this car keeps breaking here and there, here and there.

Im really dissaponted. in the manufacturing.

Car, is nice, runs great, but very poor manufacture.
