when ur cars of, wat does u boost read
It is electronic, so when the power is cut to the gauge, the needle will stay at that position until the power comes back; which then at that time it will reflect the current vac/boost reading.

an electronic gauge will just go to whatever position (for example 20 vac ) when turned off... if u turn the car on but not start it will be at zero
mechanical gauges, when turned off will be at zero (if accurate--i had a boost gauge on my old turbo eclipse that i had to send back bc it "zeroed out" at 2psi)
