When you install your K&N Typhoon
During my install I noticed that the maf connector harness was too short to reach the new location on the K&N tube. This was of course after the tube was mounted. What I saw was the maf cable where it breaks out of the main harness was wrapped around that main harness. That coil of wire was the extra length I needed. I was too lazy to take out the tube again and routed the maf connector and cable out and back to the main harness to un-loop it. Then routed it back the same way to the tube. Now I had plenty of extra length.
So to save time on future installs, check to see how much length you have on your maf cable before pushing the tube up in there and bolting/clamping it down.
