I have a 06 cobalt SS s/c stage two with 135,000 miles on it.
My supercharger just started making a noise this morning on the way to work
sounds like he snout is going out? Does anyone know where I can send it to to
get it rebulit?? Or want to sell me another supercharger?
And what do yall think about getting it ported???

 

you can replace the coupler and the oil in the snout. Magnuson and zzp both sell kits to do this.

Dang dude 135k I have an 06 and I only have 33k you must do a lot of driven

 

hahah ya and after 100k I bet that oil in the snout is nasty. I'd change it and the coupler and see if that helps.

 

I actually have a spare SC i'v been trying to sell (not really). Its got a 2.7 ZZP pulley on it as well.

 

oil, coupler and needle bearings should do it....

 

If it just sounds like rocks at idle, its the coupler.
