Where are your water/meth nozzles, tanks and pumps mounted?

Looking for more info on using water/meth on an LSJ, and didn't see too much about the nuts and bolts, only the power usage etc. If you have pics, please post them.

The search button is your friend of such a vague question.

Myself I have my pump mounted behind the right headlight and use the washer tank as my water/meth tank. And use an OTTP throttle body spacer for nozzle placement.

when i ran meth it was in the trunk, Rodney at AIS has a brilliant trunk mounted 3 gallon tank with provision for the pump as well, stick it in the spare tire well and be happy.
toss the spare,The Best Water injection system and water methanol injection systems at AlcoholInjectionSystems.com put in a can of fixaflat spray foam and u be good.

Rodney at AIS is one of the unsung heros of meth injection lots of assistance, help and very good products well priced.

sort of yes. If you use the stock carpet and flimsy cardboard it does; I use a floor of plywood1/4 under the carpet and had to space it up a little.

The spare tire well is not perfectly flat its angled and a pita. If I still ran meth I would have fabricated a better panel but i decided to go meth-less/ the 3 gallon tank sure makes having meth easy, lasts for a full track session of 20 laps or so and about three-four weeks on the street...so very good.

How much does the stock tank hold?

Freakta, I'm not sure I follow what you are talking about. What tank are you running there?

I would think the Option b tank tied into the stock washer tank would be a great way for alot of capacity

Powell, let's just agree to disagree. I will say his parts look eerily similar to another company's, and his "new" products come out after another company's does.

Those are old parts. Coolingmist pump with a DO tank. Are you using a progressive controller or a hobbs switch? Does the methanol not degrade the blower coating or the IC?

It sits on pass side inside the engine bay. The tank mounts to the strut tower next to the motor mount

Anyone know if the IRL washer tank will fit in a CSS, or vice versa? Looking at an IRL and noticed the tank is on the driver's side.

Doubtful. Why do you want to switch sides?

Not switch sides, just looking at an OEM way to keep the mixes separate. Cobalt tank for water meth for engine, and the stock IRL tank for the windshield.

I wash my windshield with water/meth all the time lol

Or you can just run winter windshield washer fluid for a water/meth mix and have the best of both worlds.

You can put the Cobalt Washer Fluid tank in the IRL but you cannot put the IRL washer tank in the cobalt. No space because of the intake routing and brackets.

If you have an IRL this works. Putting the cobalt washer tank in the passenger side of the compartment.

Blackstg2, the only cobalts in my area are twice as expensive as the IRLs, so it will probably be an IRL I pickup soon. Cobalt tanks are about $50 on ebay, so it shouldnt be too much money out of pocket to try.

What nozzle, and what % methanol is everyone running?

Depends on your set up, what you do with the car, how often your WOT, how long you want it to last, how much power you want............
